"I'll keep an eye out for her. I've heard she's very colorful." He smiles a little, but otherwise lets the subject drop. He knows what it's like to lose family, although he was never as close to any of his brothers as Thor was to Loki.

It is true that Thor is up here instead of down in the village, but he could have just as easily taken off to some far-off port to drink alone, to forget his duties in an effort to scrub away his shame. That's a good sign, in the Titan's opinion, and he's about to voice as much, but then Thor drops some information that puts his continued depression in a new and unpleasant light. "Gone?" he repeats in surprise. "Is that possible? I thought that they were as old as your universe. What happened to them?"
