They wander in to someone else's home and Steve can't help but to wonder who made this place into a home before Thanos. Thor certainly hasn't. There's nothing save for his weapon to mark this place as his own. The empty bottles are litter, not decor, after all. Steve's gaze is distant as it tracks across the living room. His own shoulders drop ever so slightly. They may have failed the world and every other planet but Steve doesn't want to fail his friend too.

"You've got enough to worry about right now. Mind if I poke around a bit?"

It shouldn't take long for Steve to pick up the garbage at least, bag it up with whatever the previous owner had lying around for their trash. He's half tempted to do it anyway even if Thor objects but he doesn't want to discount anything his friend has to say right now.
