Though it has been a while since he and Thor trained together, Prometheus knows that his friend is clever enough in battle to go for the obvious right out of the gate. Rather than protect his right foot, he twists his stance and slides his left leg out of the way of Thor's attempted leap. He knows that his options will be limited if Thor manages to climb onto him, so while the god is recovering from his missed jump, he bends and swings with an open hand, hoping to swat Thor right out of the training circle.
