tr1ckortreat: (put the hammer down)

Even though Loki was often selfish and only sought to bring about his own ends, would he have wished Hela to have destroyed Asgard through his own foolish mistake? No. Even that would pain the trickster since then he would have nothing to go back to and would burden his brother's pain for the rest of his life. Yet, what Thor was telling him that did happen. Hela had killed many and along with Thanos, Asgard was no more, at least what Loki remembered of it. In this timeline, he was the one who had caused his own future's destruction. If only he could know what that felt like since Thor was now living with the fallout of that. Sometimes ignorance was indeed bliss.

"I could see how you'd need it to be large. Since that bastard sounded huge."

His voice was soft and caring, unlike the usual mocking tone he often threw around his brother during banter. Loki knew he was no hero, nor was he a good man, but he did care. Thor had been through Hel and back with no reprieve and now it seemed guilt racked Loki's core regarding such things.

"I think it's most definitely you. Cosy, warm, and a true warrior's pad. It does smell a little musky but I believe that might be your warrior's sweat."

His free hand move to Thor's back, patting it gently whilst smirking.
